Not Everyone Speaks the Same Language...

...except for that one time when we built the tower of Babel. That worked out really well for everybody, right?

The Internet is a big place. With the advent of Web 2.0 (my current favorite tech phrase), everybody has a "space" on the web. Whether you set up shop at MySpace, Blogger, Facebook, or through your Gmail and Google Groups account, chances are you have a slice of html to call your own.

Everyone's space should be different. We don't all paint our houses the same (or at least we shouldn't) and so why would our digital homes be just alike? Mrs. Rogue has recently set up a little place of her own, that while wonderful is very different that mine. She uses it to showcase cool designers, artists or interesting things she finds on her daily travels through cyberspace. You should check it out. You like me, and I like it, so chances are good you will too.

In the spirit of expressing yourself in your own unique way, I found a really cool site that gives me another outlet. "Tumblr" is a new kind of blogging site. You might call it blogging for the anti-blogger (or maybe just the Attention Deficit afflicted). It's all about short posts: a video, a photo, an interesting quote. The idea is to post the things that you see or hear with little or no commentary. Your readers (or would it be spectators? there's not really much to read) would get an idea of what your day was like without all the extraneous trappings.
